DESIGN INSPIRATION
My love for timeless, romantic design began in childhood. Growing up in Maine, my parents owned an antique store, and I was surrounded by beautiful treasures and craftsmanship. It was there that I developed a lasting appreciation for the beauty of another era. Today, I find inspiration in antique furnishings, delicate heirloom jewelry, vintage textiles, wallpaper patterns, and the romantic charm of English cottage gardens. I love blending the romance of the past with modern typography and thoughtful layouts, creating stationery where nature and nostalgia beautifully intertwine.
With a background in graphic design and event management, along with several years of experience as the General Manager of a Marriott hotel, I've developed a deep appreciation for creativity, thoughtful details, and creating memorable experiences. In 2018, I followed my passion for design and founded Design Truly. I now call the charming coastal city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, home. With its rich history, centuries-old architecture, and timeless charm, Portsmouth feels like stepping back in time and continues to inspire my love for the beauty and character of the past.
