ORDERING & PROOFING PROCESS


This guide will walk you through our ordering and proofing process for our Semi-Custom Collections, including customization options that are available. 

We have streamlined our process to give you dozens of design options in just 3 simple steps. You will work one-on-one with a designer who will create wedding stationery that is unique to you and your wedding style.

DESIGN AND PROOFING PROCESS
STEP 1)  SELECT YOUR DESIGN & CUSTOMIZE
Select your design on our website and place your order. You will select your paper type, ink colors, wording, and add-on options using our online order form.

As you prepare to place your order, consider wording and colors, as this information is required on our online order form.

STEP 2)  PROOFS & REVISIONS
After placing your order, you will work 1-1 with a stationery designer who will create your personalized stationery. You will receive your first round of digital proofs within 3-5 business days. Three complimentary rounds of revisions are included to perfect your stationery.  

STEP 3)  APPROVAL & DELIVERY
Once you are completely satisfied with your design, your stationery will print and ship directly to you! Nothing prints without your approval.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROOFING PROCESS

The proofing process includes three rounds of proofs; the first round is based on the wording and colors submitted in your order and the remaining two rounds are for revisions.

Wording changes, color changes, and minor layout adjustments can be made during the revision rounds.  

Change requests beyond the three complimentary revision rounds are invoiced at $25 per round. 

Digital Proofs will be created for your review, so that all changes can be made prior to being printed.

If you would like to see and feel the quality of our invitations in person, we highly recommend ordering a sample set, which will include a complete example invitation suite.

ASSEMBLY

Add our Invitation Assembly Services to your order and have your suites stacked, stuffed and sealed. We will assemble all of your invitation components and have them ready for you to ship to your guests. If you purchase our ribbon, assembly will include cutting and tying the ribbon. The assembled stationery will ship to you directly. You will be responsible for applying postage and shipping to your guests. *postage not included*

All stationery pieces will ship flat and require assembly, unless you add our assembly services to your order. 

PRODUCTION TIMES

We recommend placing your order as early as possible to secure your place in our production schedule.  After your order is placed, you will receive your personalized digital proofs within 3-5 business days.  It is important to consider that design revisions and/or delays in feedback may affect production times and could possibly delay your order. 

Once your proof is approved for print, production begins immediately. We will notify you once production is complete and your order has shipped.

Please reference the timelines below to estimate your order completion timeframe. 

Digital Printing: Digital printing takes up to 3 weeks upon approval, plus shipping time.

Letterpress Printing: Letterpress printing takes up to 4-5 weeks upon approval, plus shipping time.

Foil Stamping: Foil Stamping takes up to 4-5 weeks upon approval, plus shipping time.

Custom Artwork:  If custom artwork is added to your stationery order (venue illustrations, custom monograms, etc.), this will add an additional 4-6 weeks to your timeline, in addition to the printing times noted above. 

 
WEDDING STATIONERY TIMELINE
We recommend ordering your wedding stationery as early as possible to create an enjoyable, stress-free experience. We've created the timeline below to give you a general idea of what to expect. Standard shipping takes up to 10 business days. Rush services are available for an additional charge. 9-12 MONTHS
ORDER & MAIL SAVE-THE-DATES

You'll need to consider how many out-of-town guests you are inviting when deciding the best time to mail your Save-the-Dates. We recommend ordering them as early as possible to allow plenty of time to notify your guests, so they can add your wedding day to their calendar. As soon as you have your wedding website set up, hotel rooms blocked (if applicable), and know the city and state of your wedding, you can place your Save-the-Date order. If you're including a photo on your save-the-date, you'll need to submit the photo at the time you place your order.

4-6 MONTHS
ORDER & MAIL INVITATIONS

Invitations should be ordered 4-6 months in advance of your wedding day. You'll need to allow enough time for proofing, production, printing, and assembly. We recommend ordering your invitations at least 6 months in advance if you are adding letterpress, foil, or custom artwork to give yourself plenty of time.

Don't forget to consider the time needed for assembly, stuffing, and sealing, which you'll need to do once your stationery arrives.

4-6 WEEKS
ORDER WEDDING DAY STATIONERY & THANK YOU CARDS

Day of stationery should be ordered as soon as you finalize your day of details, no later than 3 weeks before your event date. Our wedding day stationery is digitally printed to ensure the fastest possible delivery.

2-3 WEEKS POST WEDDING DAY
MAIL THANK YOU CARDS!
